Approving & Linking a Note¶
Review the AI-generated clinical note, link it to the correct diagnosis, and approve it.
What this is for¶
After a recording is processed, this workflow lets you review, edit and approve the generated note, and link it to the correct diagnostic code or episode of care.
Who can do this¶
The clinician who recorded the consultation, or any clinician with access to the patient record.
Step-by-step¶
- From the Home Screen, locate the note under Awaiting approval, or navigate to the patient's record in the Patients Screen.
- Open the note to review the generated content.
- Read through each section. Edit any text that needs correction.
- Link the note to a diagnosis:
- Select Link Diagnosis.
- Search for the relevant ICD-10 code or diagnosis name.
- Confirm the selection.
- Confirm the episode of care the note belongs to.
- Once satisfied, select Approve.
- The note is now locked and stored against the patient record.
Note
You can reject a note instead of approving it. Rejected notes are flagged and a new recording may be needed.
Common issues¶
Cannot find the right diagnosis code
Try searching by keyword rather than code. If a code is not available, contact your practice manager to check the diagnosis list configuration.
Note content is significantly wrong
If the AI-generated note has major errors, reject it and re-record the consultation summary. Contact hello@akiliai.net to report persistent transcription issues.
