Invite a User to Your Practice

Add a colleague or staff member to your Akili AI practice.

What this is for

Sending an invitation so a new team member can join your practice and access Akili AI with the appropriate role.

Who can do this

Practice managers and administrators.

Step-by-step

  1. Navigate to SettingsUsers.
  2. Select Invite user.
  3. Enter the new user's email address.
  4. Assign a role:
    • Clinician — can record consultations, manage patients and generate documents.
    • Administrator — can manage users, billing and practice settings.
    • Receptionist / Staff — can manage patients and appointments (no clinical access).
  5. Select the rooms or facilities the user should have access to (if applicable).
  6. Select Send invite.
  7. The user receives an invitation email with a link to complete their sign-up.

Note

Invitation links expire after 72 hours. If a user has not accepted within that time, return to Settings → Users → Pending Invites and select Resend.

Common issues

User reports they did not receive the invitation

Ask them to check their spam folder. You can resend the invitation from Settings → Users → Pending Invites.

Wrong role assigned

You can change a user's role at any time from Settings → Users without needing to re-invite them.
